Cosmetic innovations: changing textures
Cosmetics is always surprising us with new innovations! One of the aspects in which it has gone most deeply into is that of textures, especially changing textures.
Sensoriality is able to make a difference and attract the consumer from the first impact. But there is something even more impressive: changing textures. These are those that transform when they come into contact with skin or water. A fact that is very daring on a technical level and fun on a sensory level.
D-Phase, the new way to make changing textures
One of the most popular changing textures is the D-phase gel. This gel is a combination of oil and glycerine with an initial transparent appearance which, on contact with water, turns into a cleansing milk. It is ideal in cleansing products.
To achieve this formula, the key ingredient is the emulsifier that allows us to join the glycerine phase with the oily phase (which contains the Natpure feel M Eco, the emollient).
In this case, CHEMIR together with Sensient offers Natpure Sol SL, a stabilised mixture of sucrose esters dispersed in aqueous phase together with starch. It is important that this mixture is well dispersed in order to obtain the transparency of the gel (equalising the refractive indexes of both phases).
In addition, the creation of this formula is very simple and is made cold, thus supporting ecological awareness. And because it contains a high percentage of glycerin, it leaves the skin incredibly soft, supple, comfortable and luminous.
Moreover, by changing the ratio between the fat phase and the glycerine phase and adding a component (sugar, active carbon or pearls), we can obtain a mask.
